Directions to the Interdistrict Downtown School

From the North:

• Take 35W south into downtown Minneapolis and get off at the 11th Street exit (“downtown exits”).
  
  
• Follow 11th Street all the way through downtown and make a right onto Hennepin Avenue.
  
  
• Drive one block on Hennepin, crossing 10th Street, and then take the first right into the parking ramp (“Public Parking Entrance”) below the Interdistrict Downtown School.

From the South:

• Take 35W north into downtown Minneapolis and get off at the 11th Street exit (“downtown exits”).
  
  
• Follow 11th Street all the way through downtown and make a right onto Hennepin Avenue.
  
  
• Drive one block on Hennepin, crossing 10th Street, and then take the first right into the parking ramp (“Public Parking Entrance”) below the Interdistrict Downtown School.

From the East:

• Take 94 west into downtown Minneapolis and get off at the 11th Street exit.

• Follow 11th Street all the way through downtown and make a right onto Hennepin Avenue.

• Drive one block on Hennepin, crossing 10th Street, and then take the first right into the parking ramp (“Public Parking Entrance”) below the Interdistrict Downtown School.

From the West:

• Take 394 east into downtown Minneapolis and get off at the 12th Street exit.
  
  
• At the first stop light, at the end of the exit, make a left onto Hennepin Avenue.
  
  
• Drive on Hennepin for two blocks, crossing 10th Street, and then take the first right into the parking ramp (“Public Parking Entrance”) below the Interdistrict Downtown School.

From the Northeast:

• Take Central Avenue all the way to Minneapolis, making a right onto 1st Avenue.
  
  
• Follow 1st Avenue over the bridge into downtown, at which time it merges with Hennepin Avenue.
  
  
• Follow the signs that route traffic from Hennepin Avenue to 1st Avenue (because Hennepin becomes one-way) and proceed through the Warehouse District on 1st Avenue.
  
  
• Make a left on 10th Street South and then another left onto Hennepin. Finally, make the first right into the parking ramp (“Public Parking Entrance”) below the Interdistrict Downtown School.

From the Northwest:

• Take 94 east towards downtown Minneapolis and get off at the Hennepin exit, make a left onto Hennepin Avenue.
  
  
• Follow Hennepin Avenue into downtown, crossing 10th Street, and then take the first right into the parking ramp (“Public Parking Entrance”) below the Interdistrict Downtown School.

School Closing Information
Listen to WCCO radio and watch television stations KARE TV, KMSP-TV, or KSTP-TV to find out if IDDS will be delayed or closed.

IDDS will be listed under the WMEP School District and/or under IDDS Minneapolis. Both WMEP schools have separate identities - closing one school does not necessarily mean closing both - ( i.e. one school may be closed due to water problems).
